PHOTOGRAPHY
Creators Specialist is a product and food photography studio in Jbeil (Byblos), Lebanon. We shoot the images your business sells with — menus, packaging, catalogues, ads and the social feed.
A photo is not decoration. It is the only part of your product most customers will ever see before they decide to buy.
Most businesses do not lose sales because the product is wrong. They lose them because the photo makes a good product look ordinary.
A dish shot under the restaurant's own ceiling light. A bottle photographed on a kitchen counter with a reflection of the room in it. A product on a white background that is actually grey. These images do not read as cheap photography to a customer — they read as a cheap product.
Photography is the decision about how your product looks at the exact moment someone is deciding whether to pay for it. Lighting, styling, angle and finish are what separate a photo that stops the scroll from one that gets passed.
We shoot for the place the image is going. A hero shot for a menu board, a square crop for Instagram, a cut-out on white for a marketplace listing and a lifestyle frame for an ad are four different jobs, and shooting them as one is why most brands end up re-shooting.
Food photography. Menus, delivery platforms, social content and advertising. Shot with a stylist so the dish on camera looks like the dish that leaves the kitchen — not better, not worse, and not melting halfway through the frame.
Product photography. Packaging, cosmetics, bottles, jewellery and retail items. On white for listings and catalogues, and in styled sets for campaigns and social.
Lifestyle and model shoots. The product in use, with a model or hands in frame, which is what performs in paid ads and on social far better than the product alone.
Brand and team photography. Headshots, team and workplace images for your website, Google Business Profile and LinkedIn.
Interior and venue photography. Restaurants, clinics, salons and retail spaces, for the website and for the listing photos customers judge you by before they arrive.
Video alongside stills. Short vertical clips shot in the same session, because the set is already built and lit and a second set-up costs far less than a second shoot day.
Before the shoot we agree where every image is going, because that decides how it is framed. A photo cropped for a menu does not fit a story frame, and a story frame does not fit a billboard. Deciding this first is the difference between one shoot and two.
You receive each image in the formats you need — web-sized, print-resolution, square, vertical and cut-out on white where required — rather than one file you then have to crop yourself.
Restaurants, cafés and food brands most often, then beauty and cosmetics, retail and e-commerce, clinics, and hospitality. Food and beauty are the categories where the photograph does most of the selling, which is why they re-shoot most regularly.
Packaging, cosmetics and cut-out work are faster and more controlled in studio. Food, venues and team photography are usually better on site, where the kitchen, the space and the staff already are. We decide this at the brief stage, not on the day.
Photography is priced by the shoot, not by the hour, and the number depends on how many products or dishes, whether a stylist and a model are needed, studio or location, and how much retouching the images require. We scope it after seeing the shot list.
Props, ingredients, model fees and studio rental, when required, are quoted separately and passed through at cost. We never mark them up.
Who owns the photos?
You do. Full usage rights for print, web, social and paid advertising, with no time limit and no extra licence fee later. We ask only to show the work in our own portfolio, and we will skip that if you would rather we did not.
How many images do we get?
Agreed before the shoot as a shot list, so you know the number rather than hoping. A typical food session produces fifteen to twenty-five finished images in a day; product work is usually more, because the set changes less.
How long until we receive them?
Five to seven working days for retouched images. A small set of unedited previews goes out within a day or two, so social does not wait on the full delivery.
Do you provide a stylist?
For food, yes, and we recommend it strongly. Styling is most of the difference between a professional food photo and an expensive snapshot of a plate.
Can you shoot at our restaurant or shop?
Yes, and for food and venues that is usually the better option. We bring lighting, so the space does not need to be bright and we are not working around your windows.
Do you retouch the images?
Yes — colour, cleanup and consistency across the set are included. We do not reshape food or products into something the customer will not receive, because the complaint that follows costs more than the photo earned.
Images are the raw material for everything else — see Social Media Marketing for how they get used week to week, and Design & Branding if the look they need to match is not defined yet.
Retouched images in every format you need — web, print, square, vertical and cut-out on white — with full usage rights and the source files kept on file for reprints.
